Steve Leal “Denise" 1985 original pencil on Crescent illustration board. 11" x 15" Pristine. Signed lower right. I originally purchased from Steve Leal directly. I have COA as well. Created 5-26-1985.

Leal created a famous painting and serigraph from his photo session in which he titled "Denise" and this is the same model.

Leal is a contemporary of Nagel and while influenced by Nagel's work he created his own unique style and was published at a very young age in the mid 80s. Probably known best for his "Four Faces" artwork. He went on to work with many celebrities and even did the art work for the American Music Awards show. Not sure if it was published. When I purchased the drawing, Steve was also gracious to give me the original slide from his photo shoot of Vanna White.
