Trevor said he had never drawn the Spirit before and he went above and beyond with this commission! He did multiple prelims and said he researched Eisner and the character just to get this great action sequence with Octopus right. He even included a nod to his favorite work of his, Thriller, in the top left corner.

Very nice that Von Eeden added the Eisner pulp graphic elements around the slam bang action that is more of his own.
