Description

Tom has been doing a really great series of “warm up” sketches of various Spider-Man costumes & characters that he has been posting to his social media accounts. The series has truly been amazing, no pun intended. Each character is traditionally drawn and then set against the same digitally created skyline, but colored differently. Tom just seems to nail these energetic poses and each one has such different energy yet all scream Spider-Man. I hope someone at Marvel is paying attention, this dude needs to be on a Spider-Man book!

When the Iron Spider suit debuted during the Civil War event it was a design that was felt fresh and was story appropriate. So this was definitely a “modern” look that I really appreciate! Tom drew these all on 3” tall trimmed pieces of comic board.
