Description

Mr. M removes the bullet from the girl's abdomen. Mom rushes into the room from her shower, to see the stranger hunched over her daughter. She threatens him with a knife. Dad arrives and shoves Mr. M out of the apartment, not realizing who just saved his daughter's life.

The story concept is fine. The art is fine. But the execution is bizarre. The girl was shot at close range with a revolver. At no point do we see a wound in her clothing or herself, or any blood, even though this was a "Marvel Knights" series with a higher tolerance for gore. Also, removing the bullet would not do anything to heal the damage it would have done to her innards. Maybe Mr. M has the power to heal the damage too? If so, we missed an opportunity to see any damage to be healed.
