Garfield Prelim - May 7th, 1984

Not sure I'd be able to justify the price of a published Garfield strip but this prelim is a great way to get a bit of Garfield in my collection without breaking the bank. I love prelims and rough sketches so much anyways for the glimpses they give you into an artist's process and how they get from point A) to the final piece. Garfield is such a simplified character to begin with, so to see how Davis can draw him even simpler while he's figuring a strip out is neat.
