I have a picture
Pinned to my wall
An image of you and of me and we're laughing, Lake Como dance off
But look at this art now
Nate Summers reborn
No fuss and no fight, we delight atmosphere, Dike with ink and wash
Oh, whoa
Hold it now, whoa
Warms my heart
Stays with me
I love this art
I love this art
Dike and Eranga, they're two of a kind
Both of them drawing for some perfect world, Cable for mutant kind
So perhaps I should leave here
Yeah, yeah, put my guns away
But you know that there's nowhere I'd rather be than Lake Como that day
Oh, whoa, oh, whoa

Holy Jeez... SOMEONE made off like a bandit at Como, Eranga! Sincere congrats on landing another brilliant piece. LOVE the ink wash (and spatter) here; beautiful figure work, but especially on the background and weapon. It sets an indelible mood for the piece - the tired warrior, unceasing in his quest to establish a better tomorrow through his work in the past. Although I'm not a huge Cable fan, this is one of the very best Cable pieces I've seen, stressing "the weight" and struggle rather than spotlighting his snarl, guns, and pouches; the inside rather than the outside. :) Beautiful, E. Congrats!

(And I especially LOVE all the photos of your in-person art pick ups! Who knew all the comic artists were all so TALL...? 😜 It looks like a brilliant, wonderful time you had. Fantastic, and thank you for sharing those along with the gorgeous art!)

NO way you could pass a Ruan Cable up! Who we kidding here?! Love it man, and I love the choice of going with a profile shot. Of course the grey tone work is top notch. Overall strong lone soldier vibe. Congrats!

Some people complain about profile shots but when done right they evoke terrific moodiness!
