I still remember reading this issue when I was a kid. The original What If's were so cool and this was a neat take on the Hulk origin with Rick Jones instead of Bruce Banner.

Great page, Stephen. A nice addition to your impressive collection, the lower tier is particularly nice, and so typical of Sal's storytelling.

A great reminder that Loki had a big influence on the Hulk in those early Avengers issues. Sal is definitely a great choice to draw this tale.
