This was the cover for the book by Daniel F. Galouye; published by The Hamlyn Publishing Group Limited, 1979.

We finally were able to get two Tim White paintings after looking for many years! We love the colors, detail, and humor of this painting.

Really cool as we are living in a time where we send unmmaned all terrain vehichles for missions onto other planets like Mars. His vision of the future from 1979 is not far off at all.
