Description

Another addition to my Cap vs Red Skull pieces. I Requested it set in WWII Germany. Good vs Evil vibe. Love the details in the background. I am not totally sure what methods were used to color it. I say that because when I attempted to scan it not all the colors were picked up in the scan. I'm assuming it's watercolor/other medium. So the image is a picture of the piece and not a scan. Either way it came out great.

The piece is 11x17 full color.

Fabulous! The Red Skull is THE premiere Captain America villain and like yourself, Jason, I too love to see them both in WWII settings. After all, the Skull is a Nazi and has there ever been a scarier real live villain/monster than a hardcore WWII Nazi? I think not! For those reasons, the first Cap movie is still one of my favourites from the MEU.

The little Hydra button places this Red Skull into the MCU! You can imagine this fitting into the montage scene of the First Avenger when Cap is taking down a lot of Nazi's. Grummett's art does a great job bringing the action and tension amidst the desperate conflict.
