Always enjoy seeing the sketch cards Hembeck has on eBay, but you don’t often see full size sketches/commissions available. Very happy to have this 14x11 Avengers team piece. Many thanks to Paul for making this available in the Spring ‘22 Comic Art Live.

Awesome pick up, Sean! Beautiful piece with a terrific assortment of characters depicted in the charming, singular style of Hembeck! I don't know if it is the fantastic "ironing board" Iron Man (Tony Starch?) or Cap's shorts (and prerequisite knobby knees) that make me happiest, but, boy howdy, this thing is fabulous. Congrats on the awesome pick up! CALive winning!

A well balanced composition with the timeless charm of our heroes on full display like a class picture. Simon being too cool for school with that look off in the distance and his very coiffed movie star hairstyle.
