Description

This is Sean Murphy's original design and concepts for Johnny Manga, a manga inspired character from his creator owned book, The Plot Holes. Sean self published the book in June 2020. I enjoyed seeing Sean bring together multiple genres and styles based on each character while still blending them all in his own unique look.

These designs were published in the back of the trade paperback and hardcover books.

UPDATE: July 18, 2023 - Massive Publishing announces this artwork will be used for a limited Ashcan cover available at SDCC 2023!

Fabulous. While I know most folks are fans of his Bat stuff - this is way more fun and a lot more interesting too! congrats!!
