New Adventures of Superboy #52 p15 (1984) Kurt Schaffenberger

This page is pure Schaffenberger which is always a treat and something unusual for Bronze age art (and had I realized it before curating and scanning I probably would have kept it).

Comic page #15; Story page #12 Published 1984 date but copyright mark on back of the page says 1983.

Top of the page features Clark and Pete preparing to play baseball. The bottom of the page shows the Smallville Electric Plant along with the mysterious bum "Old Dave" ... who will (spoiler alert) later be revealed to be a crazy-looking alien in this bronze age tale's last vestige of the silver age feeling.

Page is in overall excellent condition showing normal wear for its age and handling. Artboard is off-white in color. Blue pencil and white-out were used as part of the creative process. Three of the four page corners are trimmed. Third panel has a word balloon paste-on correction.
