Description

This is one of the few double splashes I own. The image struck my wife and I in the comic, so we went after it when it became available on Cadence. The art is interesting and different, with the background being painted on the board, and the helicopters and locusts and locustcopters being painted on clear overlay (vellum, I guess?). Then there is white splatter paint on the overlay as well. I love how Simmonds art is so complete on it's own, but is elevated by the editing processes for the comic itself. The image as it appears in the book is fairly different, with an American flag overlain.
