Tim Sale was an incredible artist and genuinely nice gentleman - he was always a pleasure to chat with at any convention, and his impact on the comics medium will remain impossible to fully elaborate. This piece was a rare 11x17 illustration in the style of the Sale/Loeb Hulk Gray run, and signed by Stan Lee.

Just a perfect example of Tim's Hulk. He brought such a fresh take while paying strong tribute to Jack's Hulk. His style was so appealing and unmistakable. He is sorely missed. Congratulations on a great piece! Thanks for sharing

Awesome take by Sale who draws the Hulk like a creature that was born out of the monster era of Marvel. It is a raw and unrefined bulk and mass defined through the wash brush inks.

This a freaking awesome.

I can only imagine how cool this piece looks in person.

The way Sale drew and colored the Hulk reminds me of an old black and white horror movie .

This worked me on so many levels.

Incredible piece! Tim Sale draws lots of characters really well but I've always been partial to his Hulk.
