8.5x11" paper sheets w/copy of art for Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe #1 and Deluxe Edition also (Marvel, January 1983/December 1985) featuring "A" (Abomination to Avengers) by various artists that are hand-colored as color guides for the published issue. Approximately 156 individual sheets, with many duplicates and alternate pages. Pages included from both regular and Deluxe versions. Original wraparound cover is two paper sheets mounted to a heavier sheet and hand colored, some loosening at edges where glued. Deluxe cover is one piece stat, hand colored w/mylar overlay. Classic Marvel character style guide-biography series by Mark Gruenwald with art by Ron Wilson, Dave Cockrum, John Byrne, Terry Austin, Mark Gruenwald, Brian Postman, Bob Budiansky, Jack Kirby, Peter Gillis, Tom Orzechowski, Rick Parker, Eliot R. Brown, Walter Simonson, Luke McDonnell and more. Characters include Abomination, Ant-Man, Angel, Arcade and much more. Color artist Andy Yanchus. Pages have color break notations in pen.
