Description
Published 1995.
Marvel heroes cross over with the Malibu Universe.

Cover features Black Knight [Dane Whitman] and Lamant [Sarah Walks Unseen]

After the purchase of Malibu Comics by Marvel, Marvel integrated many of their characters with the Malibu characters, even making Black Knight the leader of UltraForce.

Marvel cancelled the entire Malibu line reportedly due to poor sales but was unable to explain why none of the characters were ever used again. It was reported that the creators of the Malibu characters were due some type of royalty on the characters but Marvel has denied that is the reason.

Crash and burn
Black Knight Ultra Marvel line
How'd they get so desperate?
Ultraverse alive?

Help me, please
Butler cover staring eyes
Oh, UltraForce alive again
George Perez inked line!

Hey, hey
You know what to do
Oh, Miki, get art day from Malibu

Cover used
Price won't go any higher
How are you so burnt when
There's barely one buyer?

Sold to the Marvel
They gonna rescue you
Walks Unseen to get bare feet tonight, Miki
All symmetry

Hey, hey
We're all watching you
Oh, Miki, buy away all Malibu
Bought out by Marvel
And let them swallow you
This is history, yeah, of Malibu

Wow, Pérez certainly left no pencil line unturned when he decided to go to town on this piece, did he?!? Props to Butler as well, though, because the cover design is really exciting and in your face!
