Guardians of the Galaxy Issue #08 Pg. 17 (ft. Peter Quill, Blastaar)

Although technically not my first Blastaar piece, this is definitely the most detailed. It has Blastaar images in four of the five panels, which was the reason why I picked it up. I absolutely love his expression and detail in the bottom panel with Peter Quill. Poor Peter found himself at the mercy of Blastaar in the Negative Zone after being banished by Ronan. Blastaar's foot soldiers seemed ready to make short work of Peter, but Blastaar has ulterior motives for keeping him around. Motives revolving around a certain history Peter had with the Kree. Also, of note on the middle right panel above Blastaar, I love the Gorilla looking skull. Under the torchlight, I get a nostalgic vibe of the 1980's and 1990's skull art.
