Homage to Zeck's immortal cover to Punisher Limited Series #1 by Brian Level. Commissioned through Inky Knuckles. The scan does this thing no justice. Incredible depth and range of values.

This is a great example of what Level is so good at, he can bring the grit to an image that is so in tune with the Punisher's vibe. Level takes a classic Punisher image, and totally makes it his own. This is a beauty!

Old school cool! At the center with all the guns blazing is the emotional core for the character represented by the symbol and his face that gets you fully invested.

Wow! Without even reading your description this piece clearly projected its homage to Mike Zeck's Punisher. The deft use of B&W values for a popping effect is also extraordinary. Solid piece.

Classic nod to Zeck, but man did Level put his own mark on Frank here! Bad-ass piece just like the Punisher should be!

Love this! One of my fave more recent Punisher views here on CAF! And definitely one of Brian's best IMO. He straight killed (pun!) it. Dynamic, dramatic, detailed, depth...ALL the D's! Congrats!
