Description

Dani is an artist who definitely got my attention when she first popped up onto my radar last year. I've been blown away by her style and compositions. Although it is easy to compare artists who play with stark contrasts and negative space to Tim Sale, Eduardo Risso, Frank Miller... Dani has a style all her own while still reminding me of the best elements of those great artists.

I've been meaning to pick up a nice example or two from Dani once the timing was right, but this page unexpectedly popped up for sale on CAF and I had to have it. I'm a huge fan of Azrael and I also quite like Solomon Grundy so this page was perfect for me. What better page to grab than Azrael cutting off Grundy's head?

It's great to see Moon Knight in a Batman title. Dani is killing it lately and this is a superb example. Congrats!

Awesome! You really get the sense of falling as you moving down the page from upper left to lower right, from the small Azrael to the closer shot of Grundy's head. Great layout, inks...the whole nine. Dani continues to amaze. Congrats!
