Description

I love the artistic team-up of Ron Garney pencils and Sal Buscema inks on the Hulk run they did together, including the Dogs of War arc. So I was thrilled to find some examples from the arc and add them to my collection.

I really enjoy the stories that get into Banner/Hulk’s mindscape and memories to reveal the underlying psyche of how Banner became the Hulk. These stories really allow the creators to flex their muscles – writers can bring in any characters and the artists have room to create some amazing visuals. In this issue the Hulk is being pushed hard to explore a his past – love this page with the closeup of Ross and the Hulk/Banner vertical panels at the bottom.

Ron Garney and Sal Buscema is just a great combo, and this page shows that. The paneling adds to the story telling - congrats on this!
