DescriptionI'm a sucker for 'Super Powers' Brainiac, what can I say? Glad to add another published 'New Brainiac' example to my gallery! Also, like the original EHAPA Superman stories, these 1980's Bronze Age Superman strips were fairly unknown to me up until very recently. It's great to uncover new stories about some of your favorite classic characters. You can check out most of Paul Kupperberg's Superman Strips here. Note: The art has an image area of approximately 15" X 4.5". Social/Sharing |

On the nice black line of ink Trapani is a strip most never see
EHAPA one place of overseas touch it, but can't hold it
You work all your life for that
Delbo art line, in a strip that passes you by
It's a Krypton world, but there's always a chance
If Kal-El stays for the fight
There's a cold kinetic heat, struggling, stretching just to beat
Always thinking with his head just for the win
He's a Brainiac, Brainiac, I sure know
And he's thinking like he's buying strips some more
He's a Brainiac, Brainiac, I sure know
And he's thinking like he's never bought before

Look at that smug look on Kal's face. He needs a bit of a smackdown.

Like this one lots! Brainiac's always been one of my DC favorites, and you got a nice example here, with that great tinge of bad guy ego :) Congrats, Derek!

If the Derlyn people are anything like the Durlan people, Brainiac is in for a world of trouble.
