DescriptionThese are two illustrations that Jim Roslof provided for the monster supplement to Pacesetter Ltd's Chill role-playing game, appropriately titled "Things." The first illustration is of an Egyptian Sphinx (pg. 54) and the illustration on the right is a Corbie (pg. 24).For those interested, Chill was a role-playing game from 1984 in which players are members of a secret organization (S.A.V.E.) fighting evil creatures that came from another dimension/realm called The Unknown. It wasn't as bleak as Call of Cthulhu but followed the same play pattern of research/explore/confrontation as in that game, minus the sanity checks. Some great classic gaming illustrators like Jim Roslof, Steve Chappell, Jim Holloway, and Stephen D. Sullivan as well as comic great Steve Bissette, contributed art to this book and other Pacesetter products. Social/Sharing |
