I consider myself the biggest fanboy for the first edition of the Torg role playing game. Over the years I�ve made several attempts to contact artists over the years to purchase their art for the game, with none of them responding to me, until I reached out to Dell Harris a number of years ago. Not only did he still have this cover painting available, he sold it to me for a more-than-reasonable price.

The Space Gods was an amazing setting. A mixture of Erich von D�niken, biotech to the extreme and what I can only describe as �What if Star Trek was written from the perspective of the Ferengi, the Gorn, and everybody else who had a beef with the Federation?� It had the titular beings returning to Earth�s reality after a signal had been sent to them for aid, only for them to bring the threat of a sentient STD that was turning people into blue pus-leaking zombies that were part of a hive mind. Oh, and they�re totally sure their post-scarcity society is the best thing for everyone, whether anyone they meet likes it or not.

Torg first edition: Never matched, never equalled in Gonzo.
