A very popular choice as it represented a culmination of Ditko's Spidey tales up that point and posed his biggest challenge yet! McCorkindale's large art treatment glorifies the original as well the fertile time period of imagination in the Mighty Marvel Manner!

This really puts a smile on my face. Love, love, love, the Sinister Six. Those early days of Marvel flagship titles like Fantastic Four and Amazing Spider-man were a goldmine of some of the best villains in comics. I just couldn't get enough of these exciting, colorful, characters created by Lee, Kirby, and Ditko. And leave it to Marvel to actually create whole teams of villains. I just feel so lucky to have been a kid back in those days. I almost feel bad for anyone who didn't get a chance to grow up with those books.

This is such a classic issue and a classic cover. Iconic really. One of Ditko's very best, and probably my favorite (for obvious reasons). I'm so jealous that you get to hang this on your wall. Just an outstanding job by McCorkindale. Or as you put it, exquisite. Make Mine Marvel, and EXCELSIOR!
