Description

A rare double post today, but the cosmos demand it. I bring it back to the Sandman, of which I've yet to see an episode yet (thanks, Life).

Also acquired at Heroes 2022, but this was the best kind of art, which is art that is wonderful and also a surprise. I've been talking about the incredible kindness and generosity of fellow CAFers as I've met them at cons this year, and this piece comes to me from Derek Crabbe. Thanks again, CAF Prime! You will always hold my Matrix of Leadership.

I love the juxtaposition of these two characters - it's a match made in Thanos' twisted mind. The rendering of the stone Thanos head is fantastic.

The artist, Mitch Foust, is new to me, but that's the amazing part of getting art as a gift - knowledge! He also made a color print, which is sweet.

This is a great gift from Derek! Wonderful pose atop a very unique stone. Character design is great and there are skulls! We see who really represents infinity here.

A fun idea, very much in the spirit of Derek's commission collecting thought process. I also like the digital coloring for the print, it turned out pretty well.
