DescriptionMy good friend and underground comix legend Justin Green passed away last April. In happier times, he produced this mural through the auspices of Artworks, Inc. with the aid of a small group of teen artists. It was produced to commemorate the town of Carthage, Ohio (near Cincinnati) and was painted in the style of old postcard album art. It can still be viewed at 7117 Vine Street. Justin's most famous underground comic was Binky Brown Meets the Holy Virgin Mary. The entire original art will be on display this October at the Design Collective gallery in Cincinnati's Northside area.Social/Sharing |
