I might not be the biggest X-Men or even Wolverine fan, but this John Buscema Wolverine run was one of the first comic book runs I remember trying to collect when I was in Middle School. How could I not be though, the iconic First Issue Cover had me sold, it didn't matter that he wasn't wearing his normal costume or that he was going by Patch now, it was Wolverine on top of a Mountain of bodies! Not only that, but for a middle school kid, what could be cooler than Wolverine going up against a samurai! Which brings me to this page, It might not have Wolverine in it, and hopefully one day I will be able to get a Buscema page with him in it, but it had the Silver Samurai penciled by John and inked by Al, so when it went up on auction the nostalgia hit and I found myself bidding on it!
