This is so much of what sets DD apart from other heroes and their origin stories- another hero might marvel at their newfound prowess and move on, but Matt splits the arrow again. I could go on and on about this one. Massive congrats- what a pickup!
Congrats. Very memorable page from the series. Romita was never better than whan he was inked by Williamson.The artwork looks etched into the page.

It's that linework by JRJR and Williamson that works like radar sense for our eyes. We are experiencing how Matt sees the world, especially in the last panel where everything is defined by the density of lines.
