DescriptionContinuing with my "DPS Ladies Week," here is a double page splash/spread from the series Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows.In this reality, Peter Parker (Spider-Man) and MJ Watson are married and have a daughter named Annie. Not only are they a loving family, but they also form a team of Spider-Heroes. MJ's superhero name is Spinneret, and she is featured on this double page splash (with some bonus panels on the right hand side). I really loved reading this series. It's a super fun story with outstanding, very pleasing interior artwork by Ryan Stegman. One more themed post coming tomorrow night! Social/Sharing |

Loved this from the moment I saw it in the book! Dynamic pose of MJ/Spinneret web slingin'! Was a big fan of her costume for this series and you got a SUH-WEET example here! Congrats, my fellow Stegmanite!

This is everything you could hope for from a Spidey DPS made even better with MJ as Spidey! Insanely good.

So this was sort of like a What If series? Any chance that the antagonist for this series was Spinderella, right after she broke away from that dastardly supervillain group, Salt-N-Pepa? That would be kewl! Stegman's Spider-Man family art is always a treat to see and this is no exception. Well done!

Very imaginative series and Stegman's flying figurework is well framed with the amazing cityscape backdrop! It goes wide for a major showcase of of his talent!

I went to the comic Con museum today and learned about Spinneret, no idea that was Mary Jane. Cool.
