Description
A drawing from my convention sketchbook. This is the everlovin' Thing commenting on the very sketchbook he's in. Drawn by pro cartoonist Michael Neno back in 2014. Sometime in the 2000s I attended a Festival of Cartoon Art in Columbus, Ohio where I met a guy named Richard Greene. He had two wonderful sketchbooks that were started in 1978 and featured most of the notable comic book artists of the era. I remember there were at least four of the E.C. artists represented (including a nifty portrait of Mr. Greene rendered by Jack Davis hisself!) I was so impressed that I started calling these the million dollar sketchbooks. Then I thought, hey, I was going to comic book conventions back in 1978. I could have been doing something similar to this. Why didn't I think of it before? Trying to make up for lost time, I started my own "million dollar sketchbook" in 2011. Since then, I've garnered sketches from Sergio Aragones, Peter Bagge, Kyle Baker, Steve Bissette, John Bolton, Mike Grell, Jaime Hernandez, Gary Kwapisz and dozens more.
I've already posted a few and intend to post a few more.

Always cool to have Benji's personality come through and the artist putting some extra humor that would forever be a part of the art and experience.
