Description

Have always been a fan of Bill Plympton's work, and when he sent an update last month that he was going through some bins of art, I figured it might be the right time to add another. He has three Simpson's couch gags under his belt over the course of the series. This drawing is from Homer's Family and is a fun drawing that features the whole family. It just captures the beginning of Marge emerging from Homer's left nostril. This is also a milestone couch gag that commemorates a series that has gone on for a surprisingly long time. I'm sure many would argue too long, but I will always have a soft spot in my heart for The Simpsons. This is drawing #123 out of I don't know how many (guessing 300-400 total), and it definitely makes me appreciate the work that goes into hand drawn animation.
