DescriptionInspired by F M’s ‘Doodle Week’, I wanted to assemble a similar assortment of con sketch confectionery, delicious doodles, and candied commissions to celebrate the holiday season here on CAF…. Sort of a festive, goody-laden, OA Advent calendar…. The 2022 ART-VENT CALENDAR!Day 9: What could make for a sunnier fun day more than the Sunday funnies? And a Simonson Hobbes?!? There’s treasure everywhere! Although the larger dinosaur/dragon/lizard beast-thing drawing is a photocopy (would that be Calvin, in one of his daydream reveries…? ;) ), I have posted a pencil prelim for it (along with what looks like the first draft of a forward written by Walt) in the additional images. That last jump on the cliff was a real doozy. They really need to install some seatbelts in that wagon.
