DescriptionBelle, Lucy and Red Flower, the trifecta!...from the sixth Cisco storyline "Cisco's Bad Wound". Cisco takes a bullet to the shoulder and deals with being called on by three of his romantic interests from earlier stories...ALL at once. The gathering of these three beautiful ladies created one of the more memorable stories in the entire series. As this particular daily has appeared in numerous articles about Salinas, every time I saw it...I wanted it more. The dealer/collector had it listed as "Trade" art, so I made an offer with a piece of art that I thought that he might be receptive to...And it all worked out for everyone involved. As I have always considered Salinas on par with the greats - Foster, Raymond and Frazetta, I wanted to own what I would consider a top-tier example. This strip far surpasses all of those needs. The body language of the characters in these three panels is amazing and really captures the essence of Salinas' magical run.Social/Sharing |

Wonderful example of what Salinas could do with expression. I thoroughly agree his skills were at least on par with the other masters like Foster, Raymond and Frazetta. Congratulations!

Wow! A wonderful example of Salinas drawing a beauty! His passion shows on the cowboys and animals already. That energy put to making this subject makes her even more glamorous.

What a great example of this superb strip. The line work, the ability to draw beautiful women with real expression in their faces, interesting writing-great stuff!

Thanks Brett...Salinas is known to be a master of drawing the cowboys, horses, Native Americans and spectacular western landscapes...but many of his beautiful renderings of the western ladies are truly memorable.
