To this day, I think ST issue 4 was one of Bernie's crowning achievements in the medium. I really love the strips with the midget racing car action. It's incredible that Frazetta was only twenty four when he drew these, with all of that skill on full display. Although this strip had a short lifespan, I've always considered it a high watermark in medium. |
