Fun mainstream piece that has the slick and dynamic Wieringo look that he had on the Spidey comic covers. This was probaby seen more than any comic.
The Spider-Man trilogy games from Activision were an incredible set of games (this being the final one), and sadly this was the only one of them with original artwork made by a comic artist, the rest being digital pieces.
Very cool! My favorite aspect of Wieringo's take on Spider-Man was how he drew Spidey's eyes, which this piece showcases perfectly. Congrats!
It's a style so many associate with late 90s/2000s Spidey! Wieringo's style was certainly the spidey I recall very fondly after the animated series.
