The Shadow's Gaze by Bruce Chrislip

"Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!" An ink wash drawing done back in the 1970s based on cover art images from The Shadow pulp magazines. A few weeks back, I posted a full figure pose of the Shadow that I drew back in 1978 - so this is probably of a similar vintage. It's just a partial view of his face and somehow seems more effective in communicating a sense of menace. Whatever the case, I decided this was too nice of a drawing to just be stored in the closet.
