Description

Published 1985.
Color Kid was created by Edmond Hamilton and Curt Swan and first appeared in Adventure Comics #342 (1966).
Color Kid had originally been suggested by reader Jeff Greenberg in the letter columns of Adventure Comics #309.
His powers were deemed useless and he was rejected for membership in the Legion but later joined the Legion of Substitute Heroes. He shows up as member of the Subs in Adventure #351, where he turns a Green Kryptonite cloud Blue rendering it harmless to Superboy and Supergirl.

Very neat design. I'm so glad the background art to these Who's Who pieces weren't separated from the foreground art boards!
