Description

This is another piece of my tribute to great Comic Book Artists. This time it's honoring John Romita. Romita had his hands on soo many different characters at Marvel. He also became the Art Director and designed some of the characters shown in this piece.

When I asked artist James Pascoe to take this on, he really wanted to get the details right. I loved to fact he is using a brush. Romita has said in many interviews that is what he loved to use. Everything about this piece feels right.

The piece is 12"x18" done on Watercolor paper

Definitely done with great reverence to Romita Sr., Pascoe as an artist and inker himself knows the influence he had and would have a greater appreciation!
