Description

Peter Bagge got in touch with me when he first moved to the Seattle area in 1984. Fittingly, we met at the Zanadu Comics store in downtown Seattle on Union. Back then, the store was located underneath an upstairs pool parlor and you could hear the clacking of billiard balls while perusing the latest issues. Flash forward to Cartoon Crossroads Columbus 2017 and Pete drew this picture of Buddy Bradley reading I Like Comics! That was a memorable year. Besides catching up with Mr. Bagge, I also got to hang out with Howard Cruse and spent some time in front of Pete's table talking with Chris Ware.
