Published 1990.
Kono first appeared in Legion of Super-Heroes vol. 4, #2 (1989) by Keith Giffen, Tom & Mary Bierbaum.
She joined in Legion of Super-Heroes vol. 4, #12 (1990).
She has mass-shifting powers allow her to turn herself and others immaterial or super-dense.
She was the daughter of a Sklarian Raider and grew up as a criminal. (the Sklarian Raiders first appeared in Superboy and the Legion #233 (1977))
After the Legion disbanded during the Five Years After storyline, Jo Nah (Ultra Boy} formed a smuggling ring and she joined him. When the Legion reformed, Jo Nah recommended her for Legion membership.
