Classic Englehart cross-over storyline. Great pick-up Kirk!
Trippy splash! The Englehart era of Avengers was soooo good...way different than Roy's era...it solidified the Avengers as the center of the marvel universe by linking all the disparate elements, from cowboys to Patsy Walker to the other-earth, etc... This was the biggest crossover since the Kree-Skrull War two years prior - and I did have the nostalgic pull - it was all anyone into comics talked about that year!
I think I'll call this the spin cycle splash!

Bob Brown's finest work and maybe his most sought after! There's no mistake that this splash features the heavy hitters of the Avengers! Avengers comic issues from this storyline have always been highly prized even if it wasn't spelled out on the covers or price guides as an event.
