Probably my favorite current Batman artist putting out great work right now in comics is the one and only Sean Gordon Murphy! His White Knight, Curse Of The White Knight, and Beyond The White Knight series are the best thing going in Batman comics for the last half decade IMHO. There was an awesome interview on Comic Art Live with Sean this past week, which is a great watch on the rewind if you missed it. Awesome to hear Sean's perspective on art collecting and the art market as an artist, and to see some of his upcoming work. Running out of time to flesh out this post much further, have a great Batman Day! I love how the middle panel still manages to surprise you, even though it's an image on the page in front of you - the sequential storytelling here is fantastic.

A swell Batman page (secretly trying to will SGM towards a Star Wars title with a Jedi mind trick). A fitting capstone to your Bat-a-thon postings leading up to Batman Day. Well done Kavi, and some truly great art shared to CAF last week.

Thanks Jeff! SGM on Star Wars would be an occasion and thats an understatement, damn now you got me thinking about it ha!

What a terrific page from one of the best Batman stories published recently. I love Sean Murphy's work and this page is a powerful example of why. Murphy's sense of visual storytelling is second to none. And his strong compositions really make an impact. Murphy also packs a lot of emotion into his characters, they have feelings--they yell or they cry or they hurt silently. This is a superb page from a superb book! Congrats!
