DescriptionSo this is an interesting piece, history wise.When Covid started, Marvel had sent the order “Pencils Down”. All artists were to stop what they were working on. As a result of this, a lot of series were either postponed or cancelled. As part of the Empyre storyline, some of the side stories were cancelled,Invasion of Wakanda being one of them. From what I’ve been told by one of the artists, the first 2 issues were being worked on, and were at different levels of readyness; some were still pencils, some were inked, some were already colored. This was one of the few pages to ever see the light of day, it was later published in the Empyre omnibus as extra content Social/Sharing |

Very cool backstory. These hidden stories should be documented by a comics journalist. This looks amazing! The Wakanda command center is buzzing as they prepare for an invasion with all the most advanced technology on the face of the Earth.
