Description

This is page 27 of Marvel Comics Presents #36, December 1989, featuring Hellcat by the apparently much underrated husband and wife team of Roy Richardson and June Brigman. Excellent noir effects, a page that is striking both from across the room and close up.

This story is billed on the back cover as "Hellcat fights for the homeless."

My knowledge of comics, especially modern, non-DC comics is surprisingly sparse. I had no idea who Hellcat was and what a Catwoman clone was doing in Marvel. To use an old DC cliche', "When Robert found out the truth, he got the shock of his life!" For that story, watch for or look for "Patsy Walker Hellcat WTF" in my Way Too Weird gallery.
