The X-Men defeat the X-Corps in a battle that nearly destroys Paris. Abyss sucks Mystique into a pocket dimension.

X-Corps Infiltrators members Mystique and Mastermind (Martinique Wyngarde) are alerted to a breach in security. When all of a sudden Abyss aka Nils Styger the son of Azazel and Nightcrawler's half-brother, opens up a portal that sucks in Mystique. He is afraid of sucking in Banshee Sean Cassidy but is able to control his power before doing so.
