Ryan Ottley - Amazing Spider-Man Vol 5 #42 p 9 (Kraven and Gog)

Was always the biggest fan of Kraven as a kid - loved the lore and the enduring design. Ryan knocked his interpretation out of the park and delivered one of my favorite versions yet. Love the middle panel - think about the difficulty in displaying the differing scale AND a cracked window in between. It’s one of the best panels I’ve ever seen in person.

I liked this origin story for Gog as told from his perspective! The Ottley run has these fun and quirky stories besides the Kindred stuff. Fun didn't mean he slacked off. Instead, he put even more enthusiasm and gave more into the art!
