PERRY RHODAN-Novel #16 (Original Cover Art) - Johnny Bruck (1961) »Die Geister von Gol« was episode 16 of the German Science Fiction pulp-series PERRY RHODAN published first in 1961.This piece is the original cover for the first edition which was slightly edited by Johnny Bruck (1921-1995) for the 3rd edition. It was used for all 5 printed editions.

This work is one of the rare PERRY RHODAN original covers which still exist from the first publication year 1961. It was created by Johnny Bruck late 1961 and the printed version was published first on December 22, 1961.

This artwork was also used for the US PERRY RHODAN first edition #16 publised by ACE Books under the title 'The Ghosts of Gol' in December 1971. Second and third edition were published with a cover from Gray Morrow.

Gouache on board. Professionally framed for exhibitions in light oak frame and UV protection museum glass.
