Description

I've had an absolutely stellar splash from issue #2 hanging on my wall since it came out and, while I've had the opportunity to get some dazzling art from Martin since, I've never been compelled to grab another DOT page. Until now.

I've of course wanted a nice SFM piece and I feel like this is a perfect companion to frame next to the other, which can be viewed here:

Issue #2 had Cole dealing with Starface from the perspective of the monster being a figment of his imagination during the era of Satanic Panic. Now, after the plot has been to unraveled over almost twenty issues, we know what he is and the reality of his impact on Cole's youth. And I think this flashback perfectly captures that.

Thanks Martin for the tremendous piece and series!

Great piece, and great issue - I've also got a decent amount of DoT art so I've been sitting on my hands, but when this issue came out I definitely felt the itch to get some more.

Tremendous painting that is as powerful an image in story or as a would be cover. The message powerfully gets across with mood and shock with what Simmonds can do here.
