It is still the most popular SF pulp-series in Germany and probably the most published one worldwide. This piece is the original cover for the first edition which was used for all 5 printed editions.This work is one of the rare early PERRY RHODAN original covers which still exist. It was created by Johnny Bruck mid 1962 and the printed version was published first on July 20, 1962. Gouache on board. Not framed. Social/Sharing |

Looks great as it reinforces a lot of the imaginative sci-fi tropes of the era in specatuclar cover fashion.
