The Legionnaires are suspicious that Superboy is trying to sabotage Wildfire as the new Legion leader but they don't understand why?

James Sherman had a nice little run on the Legion producing some superb artwork.

The Sherman Style
So bold and wild
The last known Krypton son
His hands were meant
For comics work
And his art was known
and fun --
This left his home
And then has flown
For Bob to ink his way
And he gave DC
A piece of art, they never
Can replace

A Legion fan of comic
Art, finds a similar page
I tried to be high bidder once
But the checkbook won't equate
He learned this love
Through discipline
By collecting, all he can
The Miki means of selling souls
Took me years to understand.

The leader of Legion is hired
And these lines are glowing bold
Then so much runs through
to James Sherman
And his song is in my soul --
My life has been a poor attempt
To imitate the man
It's Miki's Legion legacy
He's the leader of the band.

Ooh, I love the intrigue and drama. One of the things I've always enjoyed seeing in comics is when the heroes costumes are displayed in glass containers, though I never understodd how the costumes stand on their own. You're right, by the way, for a guy that didn't do all that much work in comics, James Sherman did a creditable job on this title.

James Sherman was one of my favorites on the Legion. This is an excellent example.
